On June 29,2011 Doug Loescher lectured in the Great Hall of the Nantucket Atheneum on the importance of preserving the built environment in historic downtowns while increasing the energy efficiency of those buildings, and also how critical it is to have vibrant businesses utilizing those buildings. As the Director for the National Trust Main Street Center, he brings more than 25 years of experience in the Main Street revitalization field.
