The Wave Year-Round Transit Study

A Year-Round Transit Study was conducted by the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority to determine the feasibility of and develop service scenarios for year-round bus service. The public was offered various opportunities to participate in this process and provide comments through surveys and interactive public input workshops held at the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club in January 2016. ReMain worked as part of this committee at the request of Paula Leary, NRTA Administrator. The results indicated that a year-round service on Nantucket is both wanted and needed by the community.
